Don’t let your time in Seminyak drift away without at least one sundowner session.

Seminyak Beach is not only blessed with some of the most beautiful sunsets you can witness, it also has some fantastic spots to kick back with a cool drink, be it a mojito, a chilled white or just a bintang. Being so close to the equator , sunset in Bali is wonderfully predictable so get yourselves to the shore for around 6pm and you won’t be disappointed.

We love the SOS bar in the Anantara hotel at the bottome of our beach road for it’s penthouse views over the sand, surf, sunset and quite brilliant cocktail  list . The line of funky, almost suave beach shacks on the other side of the same road are great for chilling out in a bean bag and listening to the live tunes. Gado Gado restaurant has the best view of the sunset if you ask us to reserve you a beach side table and their swiss chef look after your taste buds.

You could also spend the afternoon on a comfy lounger getting your drinks from Made, Komang , Wayang, Putu, Adi etc at pretty much supermarket prices while the kids (large or small!) learn to surf with one of our partner surf schools. Beginners very welcome!

Wherever you go, it’s just a short hop back to The Lane villa to get refreshed for the evening ahead.
